Nickolas Bart, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Hello, my name is Nick. I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I look forward to helping you in your journey to wellness. I work with adults and adolescents facing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and major life stressors. I believe in a team approach and listening to the unique needs of every patient.

I am originally from Peoria, Illinois, and I completed an undergraduate degree at Carthage University, I was fortunate to have football scholarship Carthage, and I learned the importance of team-work, and playing football at the college level helped prepare me for many challenges.

I found my passion for mental health working at MUSC, helping patients in crisis. This exposure inspired me towards an education at Francis Marion University, where I trained to be a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I excel at helping those in crisis, and helping others in moments of need. I believe empathy, and a patient focused approach is essential.
